Our Impact
Since our inception in 2002, TFN has helped raise over £17 million worldwide, supporting more than 2,435 small to medium sized non-profit organisations.
Non-profits complete an impact report one year after receiving funding. You can find out more about the organisations we have supported here.
Our own 20 Year Impact Report was published in 2022, with an introduction from our Patron Jon Snow. Read the full report online here.
FEATURED NON-PROFITS
The one thing that unites all our non-profits is the requirement for social change.
TFN supports non-profits addressing human rights, health, education, livelihoods, inclusion, the environment, climate change, and crime reduction & peace building.
Human Milk Foundation
Human Milk Foundation provides donor human milk to sick premature babies in hospital neonatal intensive care units and to new mums with cancer. Like donated blood, donor milk saves tiny babies' lives. HMF is working to establish a network of Donor Milk Hubs across the UK.
Recognize Black Heritage & Culture
Promoting diversity and educating people about the contribution the African Caribbean community has made to Britain through the inaugural Windrush Film Festival
Luminary Bakery
Empowers disadvantaged women to reach their potential through providing training and employment in baking.
360 Giving
We publish data on the grants we have made since April 2017 using the 360Giving Standard. You can view our data on GrantNav, 360Giving's search tool. You can find organisations we fund using the search field at the top. To widen the search, or compare us with other funders, scroll down and select other funders from the list in the left margin.
We believe in the potential of open data. With better information, donors can be more effective and strategic decision-makers.
We publish our data in an open format through 360Giving because it can be shared and compared more easily. 360Giving provides the basis of new tools that everyone, whether making grants or looking for funding, can use to understand and improve giving in the UK.
This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. This means the data is freely accessible and anyone can use or share it as they wish. The data must be attributed to The Funding Network.
Using the 360Giving data standard, you can download our grants as an Excel workbook (.xlsx).
