About This Event

4th December 2023 - 5:45pm

We've celebrated the end of the year by raising over £75k for three brilliant small non-profits!

The event was hosted by Macquarie on Monday 4 December.

How It Works

At our live crowdfunding events, non-profits that are nominated and selected by members pitch for £10,000 each. Our events are open to anyone to attend and donations range from £10 to £10,000. Not been to a live crowdfunding event before? Read this to find out more.

The Projects

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.

Boys in Mind work with young people in various settings to promote good mental health and prevent suicide. We empower boys and young men to talk honestly about their emotions and ask for help when they need it. We start conversations which can be life changing - and life saving.

The Vavengers listen, support and take action. We educate, collaborate, aid and empower. We are a survivor, migrant and female-led organisation, standing with & for every woman affected by Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) and other forms of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) –we will end it together.

Our mission is to work with isolated, marginalised and impoverished families in Hackney and surrounding boroughs providing play and learning opportunities to children under five, enabling healthy early years development, supporting parenting skills and confidence, linking families into support services, facilitating friendship networks, and strengthening families and communities.
