On the 3rd of February 2021 graduates from the Year Here fellowship programme pitched at Crowdbacker 2021, a live crowdfunding event produced and delivered in partnership with The Funding Network.

Collectively, due to the committed support of Year Here's followers and The Funding Network's members, past Crowdbacker events have impacted over 18,000 beneficiaries, from at risk young people to rough sleepers. 

This year, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Crowdbacker went virtual. And the turnout was enormous!

The 11^th Crowdbacker went down without a hitch. Year Here's Head of Consulting and confetti-covered MC for the night, Nish Varatharajan led a virtual crowd of over 300 attendees as they pitched their support for four fledgling social ventures. Over £15,000 was raised within the space of 90 minutes, providing the ventures with seed capital and new connections as they look to scale in 2021. Relive the action here.
