TFN has launched in Poland! Our International Director, Eugenie Harvey, went along to see how they did.

'It was a great pleasure to spend two days in Warsaw this month as a guest of the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy, Poland running a workshop for leaders of Polish civil society organisations on TFN’s model.  The first event based on TFN’s model will be held in Warsaw on 19th May, hosted by the Academy and as many as five more events will be held around Poland over the coming months. It’s wonderful to add Poland to the growing number of affiliates across Eastern Europe.

We’re particularly thinking of our friends and colleagues in Turkey (TUSEV) who have an event this evening in Taksim, scene of last weekend’s bombing.  It’s wonderful to hear that 110 people will still gather to raise funds for 3 civil society organisations. Never was there a more urgent need for their work. Good luck for a wonderful event!'
