TFN-funded charities shortlisted for Impact100 funding
When charities and socially-minded organisations make a pitch at a TFN crowdfunding event, the simplest way to measure their success is by counting the funds raised. However, this is only one part of a bigger picture; often the greatest impact of their participation comes from the relationships they cultivate and the pitching and fundraising skills they gain, which can translate to further funding down the road.
98% of non-profits said the training they received from TFN better prepared them in pitching to potential funders1. Herein lies the beauty of collective giving events: you never know where they might lead.
In that spirit, we are absolutely thrilled that Working Chance and Tender Education & Arts, two charities that pitched at TFN events between 2011 and 2013, were recently announced as two of Impact100's three 2021 grant recipients. Impact100 is a women-led collective giving organisation that focuses on marginalised women and girls. The recognition of these two fantastic organisations shows just how far they've both come. With grants of £100,000 and £25,000 respectively, Working Chance and Tender Education & Arts will receive a massive boost in this time of great need. From all of us at TFN, many congratulations, and long may your transformational work continue!
