After running successful giving circle events in Arkhangelsk, Russia, TFN affiliate in Russia Arkhangelsk Centre of social technologies "Garant", was delighted to be recognised with a special award. The team was awarded the top prize in the 3rd annual All-Russia ‘Golden Cat’ competition, recognising their recent event in December 2018. 

The ‘Golden Cat’ prize was founded by the Association of Fundraisers, an NGO uniting specialists in the field of fundraising for charity. The Prize aims to promote philanthropy in Russia by encouraging new partnerships and celebrating new ways of raising funds for charities.  

The giving circle event in December bought more than 150 people together, raising 384,500 roubles (around £4560) for 4 projects supporting local communities in Arkhangelsk.
