Tackling Childhood Poverty in London with The Childhood Trust

We're pleased to announce that we are teaming up with The Childhood Trust on 23rd April for a special event focused on childhood poverty in London. The Childhood Trust is London’s child poverty charity. Since inception in 2013 they have raised £8.3m to enable a network of 150 charity projects across the capital to provide life changing support for more than 87,000 disadvantaged children.

During the evening you will meet three outstanding charities that are taking part in The Childhood Trust’s Summer Give matched funding programme. The Childhood Trust will match every pound of funding you pledge and these funds will be used in the Summer Give campaign to attract more than four times their combined total for each charity.

This leveraged funding will help support more children in poverty during the 2018 summer holidays ensuring sure children have enough to eat, have caring supervision, are safe on the streets and have the chance to participate in positive activities.

We'll be announcing more details in the coming weeks but for now you can reserve your ticket to join us on 23rd April at the Montcalm Royal London House. If you're a member, you can RSVP now to let us know you'd like to come.
