Over £8,000 Raised for Non-profits at Camden Giving
We heard an insightful pitch from Sam at C4WS Homeless Project, who raised over £2,400 for their much needed work providing shelters for homeless people in winter months.
Sophia from Little Village Camden gave an inspiring pitch on their work providing quality donated baby products & clothing to local families in need, raising over £1,900.
We heard a fun pitch from Joanna and the team from Speak Street about their pop up language cafè offering free language classes to immigrants, migrants & asylum seekers, raising over £1,700 which will allow them to welcome even more vulnerable newcomers to the local community.
Albert from Action Youth Boxing Intervention gave an eye-opening and powerful pitch on their work teaching local self-defence boxing classes in combination with with therapy to teach vulnerable and at-risk youth, raising over £1,900 to help them continue to run their classes.
In total, together we raised £8,140 for these four inspiring charities driving local social change - watch the inspiring pitches from the night here.
Big thanks to our hosts The Francis Crick Institute, partner Camden Giving, and to all who gave generously on the night.
