Celebrities get behind 'At the Bus' in masked fundraiser
We’re delighted to share news of a brilliant campaign to raise funds for a charity that was a huge hit at the TFN Oxford live crowdfunding event back in 2019.
At the Bus is a double-decker bus used to deliver art therapy to support the mental wellbeing of young people aged 7-18 in Oxfordshire and London. Sessions take place during the school day in a purpose-designed therapeutic studio space in a double-decker bus parked in the school grounds. With the widely documented impact of the coronavirus pandemic on young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, At the Bus’ work could not be more vital.
With that in mind, 24 leading figures including Grayson Perry, Philip Pullman, Dawn French (pictured right) and Juliet Stevenson agreed to be photographed wearing masks for Mask: At The Bus through which the charity hopes to raise as much as £150,000. The photographs were taken in the sitter’s own space abiding by social distancing regulations, by award winning photographer and TFN member, Joanna Vestey. They really are stunning!
