It was a joy to be together again at our Summer Funder on the 13th of June. Taking place at Octopus Head Office, this was our first ever hybrid event, with people watching live in the room and also at home.

We were delighted to connect our audience of dedicated donors with Katherine Low Settlement, Catching Lives and Solar Links. Their generosity was much appreciated, with £47,000 raised for the three charities, exceeding the initial target of £10,000 for each.

Katherine Low Settlement - This much-loved charity is at the heart of the Battersea community where it tackles poverty and reduces isolation in Battersea and Wandsworth, including for 340 refugee young people as part of their Love to Learn education programme.

Catching Lives - This multi-faceted charity goes above and beyond in providing support services 365 days a year for homeless and vulnerably housed people in East Kent, including mental health support, signposting, and advocacy.

Solar Links - A small but highly effective UK charity, Solar Links improves health, incomes, well-being, opportunity and the environment in ‘last-mile’ rural communities in East Africa through the introduction of loan-financed, affordable solar-home lighting systems.
