£37,000 raised at autumn funder
On 22nd September, 100 supporters came together at our Autumn Funder to support three fantastic charities resulting in £37,000 raised. We were proud to support three diverse causes at this event:
- Key4Life - a crime prevention charity, which aims to break the cycle of reoffending amongst young men aged 18-30 who have the highest reoffending rates and lowest chances of securing employment. Key4Life uses an innovative 7-Step Model focusing on emotional resilience, employability and on-going support.
- Opera Circus - an arts charity which commissions and produces new opera and music theatre and develops long term participatory arts education programmes with young people in the UK and Europe to encourage inclusion and equality. Its projects bring together diverse communities across borders and foster collective understanding of inclusion and human rights.
- Getting into Tech - a social enterprise that aims to achieve transformational change by providing disadvantaged children with the skills and knowledge they need to enter the tech sector. Getting into Tech recognises the lack of opportunities for young people from low-income and BAME backgrounds, alongside the lack of diversity in the tech sector, and aims to change this by creating a pipeline of diverse talent.
We are grateful to everyone who came and supported these excellent causes, and in particular Mishcon de Reya who sponsored this event.
Join us in December for our very first in-person event since the pandemic began in March 2020 - watch this space for more details!
