We are delighted to be collaborating with County Durham Community Foundation and Two Ridings Community Foundation to bring you a special event supporting charities operating in the North-East of England. This event will take place online, and attendance is free and open to all. You can register for the event below.

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.
Cornerstone is a charity working in County Durham and Hartlepool to end homelessness and rough sleeping through assertive outreach, education, support, and community effort. Cornerstone is built on the passionate belief that no person should be excluded from society or housing. The charity has 40 supported homes and has founded and nurtured community social enterprises and support hubs.
Gallows Close Centre is a not-for-profit community organisation open to all, operating in an area of deprivation. GCC offers a wide range of activities of interest to the wider community including wellbeing and fitness, children's holiday clubs and youth clubs. They run monthly sessions for adults with learning disabilities and a Community Garden to gain skills and knowledge and encourage greater community participation.
Wheatley Hill Community Association aims to improve the condition of life for the inhabitants of Wheatley Hill and district by advancing education and providing facilities for social welfare. They also provide opportunities for recreation, activities and leisure with the aim of improving health and well-being. Their ethos has and always will be to “to be here for our community”.
