Autumn Funder 2021

United Kingdom
22nd September 2021

About This Event

22nd September 2021 - 6:00pm

TFN's Autumn Funder will take place online on 22nd September at 6pm, supporting three carefully selected non-profits bringing about social change in the UK and internationally.

This funding event will give you the opportunity to hear directly from non-profits about their innovative solutions to some of society's most pressing challenges. Join us to learn about a unique 7-step programme breaking cycles of offending, a ground-breaking trauma therapy initiative using music and a brand new project supporting disadvantaged young people into careers in tech. You can read more about them below or find full details of what they'll be pitching for here.

The event is free and open to all, so join us for an exciting evening of collective giving. Register here or get in touch if you have any questions.

Projects Pitching

Each charity will have up to 6 minutes to pitch and 6 minutes to take questions, followed by a live crowdfunding pledging session

Key4Life is a crime prevention charity, which aims to break the cycle of reoffending amongst young men aged 18-30 who have the highest reoffending rates and lowest chances of securing employment. Key4Life uses an innovative 7-Step Model focusing on emotional resilience, employability and on-going support.

Opera Circus

Opera Circus commissions and produces new opera and music theatre and develops long term participatory arts education programmes with young people in the UK and Europe to encourage inclusion and equality. Its projects bring together diverse communities across borders and foster collective understanding of inclusion and human rights.

Getting into Tech

Getting into Tech aims to achieve transformational change by providing disadvantaged children with the skills and knowledge they need to enter the tech sector. Getting into Tech recognises the lack of opportunities for young people from low-income and BAME backgrounds, alongside the lack of diversity in the tech sector, and aims to change this by creating a pipeline of diverse talent.
