About This Event

8th October 2025 - 5:45pm

Join us on Wednesday 8 October to support three brilliant local small charities. We'll be at The Pioneer Club in St Albans to support 100 & First Foundation, Hector's House and Small Acts of Kindness. Get your free ticket below.

How It Works

At our live crowdfunding events, non-profits that are nominated and selected by members pitch for £10,000 each. Our events are open to anyone to attend and donations range from £10 to £10,000. Not been to a live crowdfunding event before? Read this to find out more.

The Projects

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.

100 & First Foundation

100 & First Foundation disrupts the school-to-prison pipeline by mentoring young people, changing their self-perception, and providing pro-social opportunities including sport, farming and work experience. Their programme was co-designed with prisoners in HMP The Mount, to ensure their approach prevents young people from offending.

Hector's House

Hector’s House is a suicide prevention and mental health charity supporting communities across Herts, Beds, and Bucks through early intervention, education, and accessible services to help reduce suicide rates. Against increasing wait times for mental health care, Hector's House provides immediate and personalised support, signposting, and access to trained counsellors.

Small Acts of Kindness

Small Acts Of Kindness reduces loneliness and isolation for older and vulnerable people, particularly those who are cold in their home. By working with the local community and Police Community Support Officers to distribute Warm in Winter gift bags, they connect communities with kindness, one small act of kindness at a time.
