About This Event

30th March 2023 - 6:00pm

We joined forces with the Environmental Funders Network on Thursday 30th March for a sixth time to support three fantastic organisations tackling pressing environmental issues.

River Action, Rewriting Extinction and Youth Environmental Service each pitched for between £15,000 and £20,000. You can find out more about the charities below and make a pledge to support their work here.

This event was kindly supported by Rathbone Greenbank Investments.

How It Works

At our live crowdfunding events, non-profits that are nominated and selected by members pitch for £10,000 each. Our events are open to anyone to attend and donations range from £10 to £10,000. Not been to a live crowdfunding event before? Read this to find out more.

The Projects

At our events, charities pitch for 6 minutes before taking questions from the audience.

River Action are on a mission to rescue Britain's rivers from the deluge of agricultural, sewage and industrial pollution. They aim to secure the necessary community activism, public support and policy change to end river pollution and enable natural climate solutions.

Rewriting Extinction unites all sectors of society, from the disengaged to the deniers, to care about protecting nature, preserving species and preventing environmental destruction and the climate crisis. They do this through the power of storytelling.

The Youth Environmental Service is a new programme, creating opportunities for young people from across the UK to spend a year working in paid, environmental roles where they can build new skills, make new connections, and save the environment, all at the same time.
