A loose affiliation of individuals, from a variety of backgrounds, but with a common purpose, to join with others in using our material prosperity to fund social change causes. Members may be individuals giving their own personal funds or trustees of charitable trusts who have the discretionary power to make commitments at a Funding Event. Anyone can attend a funding event. If you would like to become a member, the annual membership fee for individuals is £75 and for corporate membership it is £250.

Our Trustees are Frederick Mulder, Jenny Sheridan, Andrew Wade, Iona Joy,
Iain McMullan, Shuna Kennedy, Sharath Jeevan and Alan Hodson.

Becoming a Trustee of The Funding Network
Three of our seven Trustees are about to stand down, and - guess what - we want to replace them. We would especially welcome someone with financial skills to become our new Treasurer. Please feel free to nominate someone already involved in TFN, who might be too modest to nominate themselves, and please feel free to nominate yourself! Or if you know someone not currently involved in TFN but who could be interested and has the skills and time to work with us, please do let them know. Our Trustees have to be members of The Funding Network, but becoming a member is a simple operation and involves no arcane rituals apart from a small membership fee.

The deadline for nominations/self-nominations is Tuesday 1st December. The Trustees will be meeting on 3rd December and will then create a shortlist of prospective Trustees with whom one or two existing Trustees will talk (interview is too strong a word, but you get the picture). A decision will be made at the January Trustee meeting.

We are now preparing for our next event TFN London's seasonal event on 2nd December. There will be a number of diverse, innovative charities presenting their work with, as usual, only 6 minutes each to tell us how £5,000 would help them to create social change.
