YTFN is a spin-off The Funding Network. It's launch took place on the 4th June at Cafe 1001, 1 Dray walk, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 which saw 3 charities bidding for cash and time with 3 great projects. It was a very succesful event to which 140 young professional came and collectively the evening raised £6000 for all 3 projects (£3000 more than each project had pitched for!) In the next few days, we'll be posting up photographs and comments following the event. Stay posted as we plan to hold another YTFN event (the first of many more) in October 2008

YTFN is a new approach to giving to charity! Instead of asking you to donate to a random charity and not telling you where your money's going, we invite charities to pitch specific projects which they require funding for. Then you, and everyone at the event, can donate towards the project and help the charity reach its fundraising goal. It will be a truly rewarding event and will also include a stand of Fairtrade & ethical products, performers and DJs.
