A now fully self sustainable modle – Sock Mob Events works with homeless and vulnerably housed individuals to take positive action for their own lives, and help them overcome the stigmas associated with marginalized groups such as the homeless, which in turn drives wider social change through integrating these groups in the economic and civic life of the city. Cancerkin helps to reduce breast cancer mortality rates and help women with breast cancer cope with the non-medical issues associated with the disease. Continue reading

Step Forward

Step Forward used TFN funding to support young people and families in Tower Hamlets. Continue reading

Conflict and Change

Conflict and Change used TFN funding to produce a short film to promote understanding about conflict. A minimum of 1500 young people are expected to watch this. Continue reading

Straight Talking Peer Education

Approximately 900 13-16 year olds have benefitted from Straight Talking’s peer education programmes which aim to reduce teenage pregnancy rates. Continue reading

Haringey Shed

TFN funding allowed Haringey Shed to undertake a music theatre production. This involved 80 young people and was watched by over 300. Continue reading

Friendship Works

Friendship Works provides long-term one-to-one mentoring to children from families facing disadvantage. As a result of TFN funding, 15 more children have benefitted from the service. Continue reading
