About the Event
In partnership with the Kent Community Foundation we are very pleased to announce our inaugural TFN event in Kent. This is taking place on Thursday 15th March 2012 in beautiful Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Five great projects from across Kent have been selected to pitch at the event:
- Relate West & Mid Kent - Provide a counselling service to give young people the opportunity to explore their feelings. They hope this will help them cope better with the challenges of growing up and reach their full potential.
- Thanet Community Development Trust - The Kitchen aims to support disadvantaged people by offering opportunities to improve their lives through training, workshops and community activities.
- Kent Refugee Help - Want to help secure the release of men detained at the Dover Immigration Removal Centre and offer support after their release.
- Walk Tall - Support disadvantaged adults into a productive, mainstream active life by establishing an adult community theatre, film & arts group underpinned with mentoring and talking therapy.
- Voluntary Action Within Kent - Aim to reconnect marginalised and isolated young people through a Befriending Service and Personal Development Programme.
