TFN London – New Joiners Event

About the Event

We are pleased to announce our first event of 2012 which will be taking place on Tuesday 24th January. Once again, SEB have kindly offered to host this event at their offices, 2 Cannon Street, London EC4M 6XJ.  

Following the success of previous years this event will be our New Joiners event whereby the first £50 donation from people who have never given through TFN before will be match by a kind benefactor. This makes it the perfect time to introduce your friends and family to the TFN way of giving.

We have five interesting projects lined up for the event:

Hashim Welfare Hospital - Wants to provide a neonatal incubator, a refrigerator for the blood bank and an ambulance for a hospital in rural Pakistan, which will improve the infant mortality rate in the local area.

Renaissance Foundation - Aims to engage, motivate and inspire young people with serious diseases and enable them to gain practical experiences through a workshop project culminating in creating a mobile phone application about the Tower of London.

Nepal in Need- Are looking to establish a five day surgical and reproductive health camp in Sankhuwasaba, a rural area in the Nepalese Himalayas to provide free healthcare to communities cut off from most provisions.

 Green Light Trust - Aims to work with indigenous communities in Papua New Guinea to ensure they have the necessary skills to deal with the implementation of the UN’s REDD initiative to protect their land from deforestation.

All African Women’s Group – Is a pioneering self-help group of women seeking asylum in the UK. The group meets every two weeks to assist each other practically and emotionally.
