Spear

Spear is a highly interactive six week training programme successfully helping unemployed young people into work.  It aims “to ignite a vision of the possible” in those it supports by strengthening their motivation, life skills and other work related competencies.   Since its inception in 2004, Spear has worked with over 550 NEETs. Of those, more than 80% are still in work or education a year after leaving the programme.  Since the summer of 2009, Spear has been expanding its programme by developing a formal recruitment capability which will extend the service by placing its graduates directly into work.
