Zaytoun CIC was established to create a market for fairly traded Palestinian produce. Since its inception in 2004, they have enabled Palestinian olive oil farmers to access the UK market by importing over 140 tons of olive oil, as well as new products such as Nablusi olive oil soap, za’atar, dates, couscous and almonds. TFN was instrumental in funding the launch of the first Palestinian Fairtrade olive oil. Zaytoun has come far over the last few years, winning many awards for their ground breaking work such as the Arab-British Culture & Society Award and The Women in Ethical Business Award.
