An overview of TFN Groups
TFN has a number of geographic and themed groups around which our events in the UK and Toronto are organised. Our groups include Bristol, Devon, Leeds, London, Manchester, Oxford, Strategic Funding Group, Toronto and Youth TFN.
Devon
The Funding Network Devon will be holding its second event once again generously sponsored by Rathbones on 8th February 2012.
It will be held at The Upper Gatehouse, Dartington Hall, Totnes, Devon, TQ9 6EL, with entertainment from Matt Harvey local British humorist and performance poet.

Leeds
The sixth Funding Network Event in Leeds raised the most amount yet – in excess of £31,000 for five amazing projects and means that over £165,000 has now been raised in Leeds supporting 24 local and 6 overseas projects.

London
London was the first of The Funding Network’s groups to be set up. Three of TFN’s four founders live in London and held their first ever meeting in 2002 with their friends and relatives. Since then, this group has grown to have 6 events per year with audiences of 100 people per event. [...]
Manchester
The Funding Network in partnership with Coutts & Co held its first ever event in Manchester in November 2010, raising over £45,000 for Genesis Sale Moor CIC, Manchester Aid to Kosovo, PHASE Worldwide, Children of the Forest and the Mustard Tree. Oxford
TFN Oxford’s latest event, held on 12th May 2011, raised an excellent total of £27,000. The lovely North Wall Arts Centre was again the setting for the event. Since their first event in 2008 The Funding Network’s Oxfordshire outpost has raised nearly £95,000 for diverse projects.

Bristol
TFN Bristol has held eight funding events since February 2004 and raised over £200,000 for 50 projects. Working in partnership with Quartet Community Foundation, the group is chaired by Helen Wilde. Strategic Funding Group
The Strategic Funding Group aims to raise second stage funding for 3 well-run, scalable charities that have been funded through TFN in the past. This London based group has now funded a number of different charities which have pitched for £25,000 each to help them reach operational sustainability.

Toronto
The Funding Network Toronto was the first branch of TFN outside the UK and just celebrated its fifth anniversary in November 2010. At this event, TFN Toronto supporters raised over $40,000 (approximately £25,300) for three charities – Academics for Higher Education & Development, The Olive Branch for Children and Unity for Autism. Youth TFN (YTFN)
YTFN is a new approach to giving to charity! Instead of asking you to donate to a random charity and not telling you where your money’s going, we invite charities to pitch specific projects which they require funding for.
