The Funding Evening was kindly hosted by Goldman Sachs at their Fleet St Offices. We raised a total of £32,144 for the following projects.
  • Search for Common Ground - runs radio stations in Sierre Leone that produces high quality, informative programming on a variety of current topics of importance to the country's population. They were raising funds to buy generators for their radio stations. www.sfcg.org

  • Women and Health - works to provide low cost counselling for deprived mothers suffering from psychological difficulties and to provide play therapy for disturbed children in Camden. www.women-and-health.org

  • The Rwandan Survivors Memory Healing Project - aims to record, document, preserve and disseminate the personal life histories of the Rwandan genocide as a permanent and indelible testimony of the events in Rwanda in 1994. www.survivors-fund.org.uk

  • Changing Tunes - rehabilitates offenders in prison and following release through music and the performing arts.

  • SOS SAHEL - works to reduce conflict over natural resources between villagers, herders, pastoralists and urban timber merchants in Niger.
